What a shame….I’ve had some baking disasters, but none of them involved glass. I had company sitting at the kitchen table when I went to stab a Turkey roll in the baking pan, with a fork, and turn it over for the last few minutes, to brown the other side. The turkey roll went rolling across the kitchen floor. I stabbed it again, and ran it under water to make sure there was no debris on it, and put it back in the oven, and we ate it after baking it a little longer.
Wow. Impressive. I think the plastic wrapping is supposed to be off before you cook it. 🙂
That’s what I thought but I read directions twice to be sure wrapping stays on!
THAT, along with many other reasons is why I love you so much, Ms. Beaumont!
Can you tell me what brand of vegetarian roast that is? I don’t recognize it and I would like to try it. It looks similar to a Tofurkey Roast, but more oblong.
The brand is Quorn. I wish you better luck than I had. 😉
Thanks, I didn’t realize Quorn was making roasts now. I might pick one up for dinner tonight. Ironically, it was in that section of Publix that I ran into your husband a couple of months ago! He helped me find the last package Morning Star Farms vegetarian chicken nuggets that my daughter loves so much.
